Inspiration

A fairy vintner spent all summer tending to her prized grapes, dreaming of the award-winning wine she'd create. As the cool autumn nights set in, the unripe grapes remained a stubborn army green. With warming days, they slowly shifted to a riper green, filling the fairy with hope. But just as they were about to reach perfect ripeness, a heat wave struck, turning them an odd fluorescent green overnight. Devastated, the fairy declared, "These grapes were probably too sour for wine anyway!" Her fairy friends, amused by this classic case of sour grapes, created a polish in her honor. 'Sour Grapes' shifts from army green when cold, to green at room temperature, and fluorescent green when warm. They added a fine particle purple aurora shimmer on top, reminiscent of the elusive perfect grape the fairy had imagined – a shimmer of what could have been, dancing across each nail like the last light of a fading dream.

Application

We recommend 3 thin coats over one of our base coats with Glasswing Glaze on top.
