Using an Acetone Additive

Whether you prefer to use acetone or non-acetone remover is totally a personal preference.

Using an Acetone Additive can reduce the drying effects of acetone without reducing its effectiveness.

You can make your own additive at home with a few simple ingredients. Not only is it great for removing your polish, it can be used with a detail brush for fast clean-up around the cuticle.
It's a fact:
Acetone works faster.
And Faster is Better!

Nail polish removers are solvents. It's a misconception that acetone is more drying than non-acetone. Whenever you use a solvent, you'll want to minimize exposure so as not to strip away the natural oils in your skin along with the polish being removed.

Since acetone dissolves polish faster, it's actually less drying. Non-acetone removers require more scrubbing, which may end up stripping away more natural oils and even possibly grind the pigments into the nail plate, which can lead to discoloration of your nails.
