Inspiration

The fairies got a hold of the TV remote again and ended up watching ‘Alien’. As the tension built, their wings fluttered nervously, scattering a fine dust that glowed an intense neon green in the dark. When the xenomorph appeared, they shrieked in delighted terror, accidentally knocking over a vial of black pixie dust. In their haste to clean up, they mixed the glowing wing dust with the black pixie particles. The result was a mesmerizing polish that glowed like the alien's acid blood but sparkled with the vast darkness of space. Giggling at their scary movie-inspired creation, the fairies bottled it up, leaving a trail of tiny, glowing footprints as they flew off to bed.
