Inspiration

After discovering a cache of vintage MTV recordings, the fairies spent an entire night headbanging to Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, their tiny wings struggling to keep up with their enthusiastic air guitar moves.

Somewhere between "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" and "Bad Reputation," they decided that regular polish just wouldn't do for their rock idol tribute.

In their slightly intoxicated genius, they mixed black and red chrome microflakes to capture both the edgy leather aesthetic and the fiery spirit of their musical hero.

The fairies insist that if you shake the bottle at midnight, you can hear the faintest echo of a power chord – though that might just be the elderberry wine talking. They're particularly proud of how the clear base lets each microflake shine on its own, just like Joan taught them to do.

Application

1-2 coats over your favorite polish or by itself.  As always, use one of our base coats (like Aethereal Armor) and top coats (like Glasswing Glaze)
